...the purse that started it all.
It's called Angie's Springtime in Paris. I made it for my friend's daughter as a gift. I just wanted her to have a pretty purse. And, as things turn out, a friend of hers saw it over a year later. She wanted one just like it! My friend's daughter e-mailed me and asked if I could make her friend one just like it. I said of course I could, I did and shipped it to her. Then came more orders, from her friend, her friends friend, my friends at work, church, craft shows, open houses... and so the story goes. Beginning October 17, 2007, God's plan took place and now it's a thriving business! He blesses me every day with new friends, new direction and to the sewer's dismay - new purse patterns!
My products are of the highest quality.
Only the best quality fabrics and ribbons, handles and other materials are used in my purses. The lesser quality, "bargain brand"
fabric doesn't have the hand, or feel, of quality fabric. It is not as soft, the weave is not as tight and it just doesn't hold up
as well under daily use.
I know you'll love your purses as much as I do, and I know you'll want to use them every day, so why not
make them out of materials which will allow that?
This part of my life is becoming really busy! Every night you can hear my sewing
machine whirring away, and yes, my husband, Doug, enjoys the time he has to watch all the sports he wants!

The biggest news now is the new shop! Yes, I now have a shop, located in the heart of the quaint village of Vicksburg, Michigan at
116 South Main Street. It's a fantastic shop with everything you need to imagine your next purse. Stop in and
visit me if you're in the area! The store hours are 10 am - 6 pm Tuesday - Friday, Saturday 10 am - 3 pm.
I'm teaching
beginning sewing classes for kids and adults and loving it!
There are six of us who sew now, Dawn, Diana, Jeri, Monica,
Pat and myself. Ruth works in the store with me three days a week so I have more time to sew. I hold parties in the store
in the evenings as well! Yes, I said parties! And yes - it's too much fun! You invite your friends,
bring the snacks you'd like to munch on and play a couple of games, spend a lot of time talking and laughing and designing purses!!!
